“Leaps of Faith -- Inspiring Stories of International Adoption”

Your personal story can be part of this new book.  Join us as we put together a collection of short stories from adoptive parents about the “leaps of faith” they made on their adoption journey. We’re hoping that this book, to be published in 2006, will inspire others to adopt internationally.  It’s not too late to share your story and help make a difference. Already a “Leap of Faith” author?  Please check out Authors Only Info Page.

How many countries did you consider before selecting the one from which you adopted (or are adopting) your child? Be sure to cast your vote in this month’s web poll and check out the results to date. I’ll post the final results in October and hope to use them to generate more ideas on what we can do together to support international adoption.  Don’t forget to check results from our previous polls.

Recommended Adoption Books

Have you been looking for a good book on international adoption either for yourself or to give a friend who is adopting? I share my personal favorites and include links to purchase. Can you recommend other good books for those thinking of adopting?

International Adoption Links

I have personally used these links either while going through the adoption process or since returning home. I have found them useful and believe that you (or someone you know) might too. If you have some other links you would like to share, let me know and I would be happy to post them.
